from Thav Prasadh Svaiye dheenan kee prathipaal karai nith santh oubaar ganeemangaarai |

I tend to look everywhere for Guru Sahib, maybe Guru Sahib is in some place far from where I am. But Guru Sahib tells us that He resides deep withing our core, waiting for us to realize. Amazing. Guru Sahib is WITH us. What more do we need if we have Guru Sahib. Guru Sahib takes care of us from the inside. No wonder I’m still standing.

gur khin khin preet lagavo merai heerai mearae preetam naam paraanaa

gur khin khin preet lagavo merai heerai mearae preetam naam paraanaa

Guru Jee, will You be my valentine?

i am worthless. And yet You care. i make mistakes. And yet You forgive me. i am selfish, and yet You spoil me. You have cared for me, loved me, held my hand, and i have not even said thanks. You have blessed me with this life, and i have done nothing in return. i waste away. But You still give more. i have run away countless times. And You have waited for me with patience. You have embraced me with open arms. And i have taken that for granted. I have forgotten You many times. And yet You have not forgotten me once. You have given me life. Another breath, another chance. You have been there when no one else was. You have comforted me through countless hardships. And i have done nothing to deserve You. Please do not forget me. Please continue to Love me. You are all i have.

today, i read some bani from a sehaj paat me and my mom have going before i went to school. I was around ang 696 and guru jee just has these wonderous ways of showing us things. This was the first shabad on that ang:

maerai heearai rathan naam har basiaa gur haathh dhhariou maerai maathhaa ||
The Jewel of the Lord’s Name abides within my heart; the Guru has placed His hand on my forehead.

sikhitothemax.com/page.asp?ShabadID=2643

The 3rd shabad was: gur khin khin preeth lagaavahu maerai heearai maerae preetham naam paraanaa

And i had done this gurbani art the night before.

A link to the 2 angs that were talking about pyaar and their meanings can be found here:

Please take your time and read the shabads on those 2 angs.

Guru Sahib, is awesome and Beautiful.

We make all these mistakes, mistakes that even some people will never forgive us for making. And then you feel like crap. But we shouldn’t care. Sikhi gives us something no one else can give us, Guru Sahib. He doesn’t care, you can forget Him, hurt Him, leave Him, and then when you realize your mistakes and come back, and He’s still there, waiting. He still loves us no matter what. Thats beyond amazingness.

One day, everything will work out, and we’ll realize Guru Sahib’s greatness everyday, but we gotta do something too. We have to try. All we need to do is take on step to Guru Sahib, just ONE step, and Guru Sahib will get nearer. One step. Amazingness.

We shouldn’t be disappointed, we should be in Chardi Kala all the time, because thats what Guru Sahib wants us to do. And if someone else is sad, mad, frustrated, gloomy, confused, or in doubt, we should help them realize that everything will be ok, because Guru Sahib is there, He knows everything, He knows whats deep inside us. We don’t even have to tell anyone, Guru Sahib knows whats troubling us. So everything will be ok, because we have Guru Sahib, who will take care of us, no matter what. Beautiful.

This is what i truly feel.

JEALOUSY – A DISEASE

Introduction
We all are aware that eternal happiness and health prevail as long as a balance is maintained between the body and mind; this is as per the laws of nature, which is the ‘Will of God’. Physically when any external germ enters our body system, disease results; likewise, our hostile reaction towards other people, creates an environment that leads to an imbalance in the blood flow with chemical reactions in our minds, making us weak, impatient and unhappy. Thus, the environment around us gets disturbed. As a result, when we, with a chemically disturbed mind (dubious and deceitful thoughts) interact with a healthy and cheerful person, we turn that person into a sad, diseased and depressed individual. Our demeanor and behavior is such that it diffuses the illuminated mind and face of other person or we make an effort to create an unhealthy environment. Therefore, only those people who are bright and illuminated themselves (are true living beings of true divine knowledge, i.e. ‘will of God’) have the capacity to ignite even a sad and depressed person. On the other hand, people who are drooped down, make it more difficult for the other person whom they encounter. Hence, instead of developing themselves through self-encouragement (by putting the oil of hope and light in their lamps) these people rather drain away the oil (hope and light) from other glowing lamps (happy person).

Who is God in Sikhism?

from Who is God in Sikhism?

I’ve always thought that God in sikhism is the same as God in Islam, a unseen God, and not as in christianity where Jesus is God.

but now when im reading on varius webpages, and sikh books people are calling Nanak “Satguru”, Gobind Singh is called the “Creator”, and Nanak is called Nirankar..

was Guru Nanak God?

Medition for Intuition: from Yogi Bhajan

WISDOM FROM YOGI BHAJAN:
MAKE AGREEMENTS WITH GOD

May 15, 2000

Man is a social animal and cannot live alone. We need to live together. It becomes extremely easy to be united if we have a meditative mind. When we act through our impulse, we are just two-legged animals. We look human but we are impulsive and guided by emotions, commotions and neuroses. By our meditative mind we act through intuition. When you are intuitive, you live your caring, compassionate and kind nature. Through the virtue of a meditative nature you enjoy your real nature. You will always be prosperous. You cannot be defeated. When wrong things happen to us we blame the environments. Environments are not to be blamed! We rely on our easy, impulsive nature. We all refuse to confront. We say, “Leave him alone! Time will teach him. Let him have his way. Why should we do anything?” Our nature is to avoid confrontation. Consequently, by habit, we are liars. We lie to ourselves to start with, and then to everybody else, because we are non-confronting and non-expressive. That is why our prayer does not work. Our prayer is non-confrontational. If you do not confront and make agreements with God, you do not have a relationship with Him.

BEING INTUITIVE

Sat Nam and greetings,

Welcome to the October addition of our online prosperity newsletter. This month’s quote from Yogi Bhajan tells us that being intuitive and being willing to confront are keys to creating a prosperous and successful life.

We invite you to take some time today and ask yourself: what is blocking your success and prosperity? What do you need to confront so those blocks can be cleared? What agreements with the Divine would you like to make today?

Below please find a link to a meditation to help with your intuition. And may all peaceful and prosperous environments flow to you forever.

We welcome your comments and feedback. Let us know if we are sharing the type of tools and information you are interested in. Thanks for joining us.
